This EMC filter is an option for variable speed drives of the Altivar range and servo drives of the Lexium range. The additional EMC input filters enable the drives to meet more stringent requirements. Its rated current is equal to 9A. It is used to reduce conducted emissions on the line supply below the limits of standards IEC/EN 61800-3 category C1 or C2 and enlarge the maximum motor cable length for category C3. Its protection index is IP20. It weighs 0.6kg. This additional EMC filter can only be used on TN (neutral connection) and TT (earthed neutral) type systems. It can be mounted beside or under the drive. The drive's power supply is then connected directly via the filter output cable.
