A chassis is the structural framework within a distribution board for the purpose mounting and distributing power. Comb busbars are similar and typically used in din rails installations.
Chassis and comb busbars are insulated, ensure proper alignment of components. They offer multiple connection points, usually in the form of slots or terminals, where circuit breakers, switches, or other devices can be easily connected.
An electrical chassis and comb busbar, eliminate the need for individual wiring between each circuit or load, reducing installation time and minimising the risk of wiring errors.
We offer three types of chassis, the first is a traditional metal chassis available in 250A or 400A with 6 to 72 poles in single or three phase models. Our second chassis is fully encapsulated offering additional safety by providing superior protection against direct contact, reducing potential hazards for electrical maintenance workers. It is Australian made to suite Australian standards and is adaptable to most industrial and commercial applications. Our third chassis called ‘Isobar’ has a unique busbar disconnection system with a switched neutral feature, it’s encapsulated, making it one of the safest chassis in the market for both the installer and end user.
Comb busbars are available in 12, 24 or 57 modules at 80A or 100A. They range from single phase to three phase plus neutral for a wide variety of applications.
