This add-on for Communication Protocol EtherCAT Main Device (Client) is part of the EcoStruxure Automation Expert range. It is an optional runtime licence that allows the controller to connect to any EtherCAT sub devices and exchange data with them. This digital run license can be used for one client. This asset-based, fully integrated engineering environment for control and HMI allows users to efficiently design, configure, and manage Automation Expert systems within a single environment. The build environment is compatible with Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2019. EcoStruxure Automation Expert software is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Japanese, and simplified Chinese languages. EcoStruxure Automation Expert is a new category of software defined automation, enabling next generation integrated architectures and IIoT solutions.
