The conformal coated Modicon M580 dPAC is part of the EcoStructure Automation Expert controller range. It is a high performance dPAC controller that supports the Modicon X80 I/O catalog. The controller supports up to 1024 discrete I/O channels, 256 analogue I/O channels and 4 local racks of Modicon X80 I/O. It is a high-performance, ruggedized IEC 61499 compliant field controller based on the widely successful Modicon M580 ePAC. It includes 64MB ECC RAM for programs and data and supports Modbus/TCP, Ethernet/IP and OPC UA and auto discovery. The controler is compatible with most Modicon X80 racks, power supplies and I/O. It weighs 0.85kg (1.9lb). EcoStruxure Automation Expert is a new category of software defined automation, enabling next generation integrated architectures and Industry 4.0 solutions.
